
Pastor Adam Ellsworth
Rev. Adam Ellsworth was called and installed as the 10th pastor of Grace in August of 2015. Pastor Adam graduated from Concordia Chicago with a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Theological Languages and minoring in Philosophy. While studying at Concordia Chicago he met his wife Beth and they are blessed to be the parents of four boys. He attended seminary at Concordia Seminary in St. Louis and graduated with a Master’s of Divinity in 2015. In addition to serving as Pastor at Grace, he is immersed in all aspects of outreach and discipleship throughout the community and sits as a board member of Stepping Stone Mission.
Grace Lutheran Church operates today through the common understanding that there be appointed members responsible for leading the congregation through a church council of elected officers. These appointed members voluntarily serve and manage all orders of business for the congregation including the calling or dismissing of Pastors, planning of year-round church service and programs, encouraging Gospel-motivated blessings, foster support for mission and charities, administer the congregation’s welfare fund, prepare and submit budget recommendations, and much more.

Adam, his wife Joanna, and their two daughters joined Grace Lutheran in 2015 after moving from Houston, Texas. He was formerly Vice President and is now serving Grace as President. Adam is an accountant at EY and in his free time enjoys cheering on his favorite sports teams (Go Notre Dame! Go San Antonio Spurs!), DIY home projects, and exercising.
